I think there's something cruel about it raining both Saturday and Sunday after the delightful week we had, weather-wise.
After all, it's raining on The Indy, Porchview Dances and Salsa on St. Clair.
Grumph.
However, this being TO, there are lots of indoor activities. Case in point: Family Day at The Gardiner Museum, which is across from the ROM and devoted to all things ceramic.
Enjoy!

Jennifer Lanthier Reading at Story Planet Sunday
Happy (long) Family Day Weekend! My family is staying put this year, which is not to say that we won't enjoy it! It's "been a week," as they say, and some downtime will be much appreciated.
If you're staying in the Big Smoke, too, you might want to grab the kids and mosey over to Story Planet Sunday for a reading by Jennifer Lanthier.
Although the storefront at 1165 Bloor St. West is a little out of our area, it is area residents spearheading this venture.
Cheers,

Family Day Around The Corner
January went by in a blink and I was a little surprised to discover that this weekend is a long one for Family Day. Some school kids have Friday off, as well.
My kids are teenagers and make their own plans now, but if you have some wee'juns at home, you might want to stroll over to the ROM.
The venerable institution is offering a slew of family oriented activities this weekend based on a carnival theme.
Cheers,
Vanessa

Family Day Fun
There are two ways to have on Monday with blades strapped to your feet: at Christie Pits rink with MP Olivia Chow and at the Family Day Skate at Bill Bolton arena.
Get those sharpeners out!
A little farther afield, but free and fabulous, are TIFF Lightbox family film screenings all weekend, including today.
