The Friends of Christie Pits describe themselves this way: "We are a group of people who live around Christie Pits and who think our park needs some Friends to advocate for it and give it some love."With that in mind, the group holds Pizza Nights on Fridays from 5 to 7 pm. The pizza oven is in the south end of the park, north of the playground and south of the baseball diamonds.
Nothing like pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven -- outdoors -- and enjoyed with friends and neighbours!
