Happy Thanksgiving to the Yanks in the crowd. Gobble, gobble.
And Happy Hanukkah, too.
We're certainly getting into the thick of celebration season now -- no denying it.
If you celebrate Christmas, I thought that this picture might spark some Christmas Spirit in you.
My sister took it at her farm in Westport this week (an hour southwest of Ottawa.) While we got snow, they got SNOW!!!
Do you suppose it was scenes like this that inspired heavy frosting on cakes? Hm.
Enjoy!

Eye Candy: Twee Westport
We've certainly been having classic November weather, haven't we? I've been enjoying it -- stark, moody, dramatic.
Hard to believe that a scant month ago, I took this shot in totally twee Westport during Thanksgiving weekend.
Westport is a lovely little town nestled in between two lakes about 40 minutes north of Kingston.
This is a picture of Westport Pond taken from the Spy Rock Lookout in Foley Mountain Conservation Area.
Enjoy!
