There's more news about the Green Line, a proposed park system that would run through The Annex and other areas of Toronto.
As outlined in a Torontist article, a Toronto architecture firm has started an international competition to spark ideas for the project.
More power to them!
Cheers,
Vanessa

Toronto's Own 'High Line' To Run Through The Annex?
Toronto rarely seems to be innovative when it comes to urban revitalization. But, if we have to be followers, let's try to at least copy the best that's out there.
New York's High Line comes to mind as a good example. It is "...a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side."
Now we have the potential to have our own 5-km long Green Line that would pass through The Annex.
Let's hope we don't blow it, or bog it down with endless bureaucracy.
Cheers,
Vanessa
