Man, are they early! Having heard that they were about to pop, DH and I biked over to High Park yesterday to catch the staggering, annual show that is the blossoming of the cherry trees.The sakura dotted throughout the park, and particularly on a hillside overlooking Grenadier Pond, did not disappoint.
If you want to catch the show, you'd better go within a week. Like a lot of spring blooms, they are spectacular, but short-lived.
