A message from a neighbour, Diana Knol, about a fantastic organization, one which grew from the inspiration of Allyson Tache, whom many of you know.
"I am a board member of the charitable organisation Refuge Enfants Pour Tous (a home for at-risk children in Burkina Faso).
I'd like to make you all aware of a fundraiser that we are holding that I think will interest many of you: a special screening of Burkinabe filmmaker Gaston Kaboure's "Budd Yam".
It is happening at the Royal on College on Monday June 15 at 7:30pm. Cameron Bailey will be there giving the introduction and to demonstrate his support for this excellent cause.
Tickets are $20 and you can get them from me by sending me an email with the number of tickets you would like.
Feel free to pass this on to people who might be interested. There should be tickets available at the door, as well."
