While neither "library" is in our area, I thought this was such a great idea that I just had to share it with you.
On the local Seaton Village Facebook page, a member pointed out that Toronto has both a tool library and a kitchen library.
The concept?
Borrow a tool or a kitchen implement instead of buying it. After all, unless you're a handyman or a gourmet chef, there are a ton of tools and kitchen implements that you only need once in a blue moon.
It also nicely fits in with the concepts of more compact living and the reduce part of reduce, reuse and recycle.
