Toronto Life just published The Best Places To Live In The City.
The magazine claims that it is a "(mostly) scientific" ranking.
The Annex and Seaton Village didn't make the top ten list; I'm willing to entertain that idea.
But, out of 140 areas, The Annex ranked 36. The rankings are causing a wee bit of controversy. The National Post and online commenters weighed in, too.
As one commenter noted, "Most of the top 10 are areas that I would not live in as they are too white, too car dependant[sic] and too full of lawyers."
But, then, I think they just summed up the vast majority of Toronto Life's readers. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, after all.
Cheers,
Vanessa
