As you probably know, the Bloor Cinema became the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema awhile ago. New life for an old institution!
Anyway, the Hot Docs festival takes place from April 25th to May 5th. Tickets are on sale now and I imagine that they sell out quickly, given that it's the biggest of its kind in North America. (Not all screenings are at The Bloor, BTW.)
The line up this year includes The Crash Reel, which is about U.S. champion snow boarder Kevin Pearce, Fatal Assistance, which explores post-earthquake relief efforts in Haiti, and made-in-Canada The Manor, about a family-operated strip club in Guelph.
Cheers,
Vanessa
