Playa Cabana, the instant-hit-of-a-Mexican restaurant on Dupont, was written up on Post City for its Tres Leches cake.
"A Latin American version of tiramisu of[sic] rum cake, the traditional tres leches cake is a sponge or angel cake that’s soaked in whole milk (or heavy cream, if you’re lucky!), evaporated milk and – this is the clincher because nothing can go wrong with [sic] you’ve got – condensed milk."
I wrote about the restaurant when I dined there last winter, too. Lovely spot.
