Here's the scoop from the Seaton Village Residents' Association:
"Dear Seaton Village Resident,
We would like to invite you to participate in the SVRA Village Wide Yard Sale happening on Saturday, May 14, 2011 - 9am - 2pm.
What we are hoping to coordinate is the biggest yard sale ever by having all residents hold their own lawn yard sale at the same time.
We will promote the event far and wide.
All you have to do is clean out your storage rooms, set up your own sale in your yard, sell your own items, make some cash and meet your neighbours.
This date coincides with the annual plant sale that happens out front of St. Alban's Boys & Girls Club every year so, it's a double whammy.
If you could let us know that you intend to participate we would appreciate the feedback

Well,maybe next year they'll work at it....because this year it looked like somebody forgot to tell the community...seriously,it's embarassing when you tell people about it & when they show up there's nothing.And if that weren't bad enough,the rain-date was just as bad....
