Another excuse to get out and walk in our city -- yeah! Doors Open is slated for this weekend and there are two buildings in our area that are open.The Leighton G. McCarthy House on Walmer Road (pictured) will open its doors on Saturday, but not Sunday. The Georgian-style mansion is called "an Annex landmark" and currently is part of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.
As well, the Women's Art Association of Canada at 23 Prince Arthur Avenue will welcome the public on both Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
