Bloor Borden Farmers Market Wants Volunteers

"Bloor Borden Farmer’s Market – Call for volunteers
The Bloor.Borden Farmers' Market is looking for volunteers! Run by a grassroots group of residents who live in the Annex, Huron Sussex and Harbord Village neighbourhoods, the Bloor.Borden Farmers' Market is a certified local farmers' market featuring real farmers selling only what they produce during the growing season.
Each week, starting the beginning of June, patrons to the market enjoy fruit & vegetables, meat, eggs, cheese, bread, honey, herbs & flowers, plus free weekly draws.
Volunteers are needed to help organize and promote the market: manage the community booth, greet patrons, and promote the weekly draws. This is a great way to
meet your neighbours, support local farmers and contribute to Toronto's burgeoning local food movement.

I checked the market out once or twice last summer. I think it's a lovely addition to our area, but the location, which is a parking lot, certainly lacks charm.
I think one of the secrets to the success of the Dufferin Grove Farmer's Market is its magnificent park setting.
