Eye Candy Friday: Roots

Well, it's spectacularly slow this Friday prior to the last long weekend of the summer.
So I thought that I would share an older picture with you -- these are well-worn tree roots on a path in Algonquin Park.
(It's on the way to Whisky Rapids, for those of you who care.)
The roots are worn smooth by many feet passing over them, giving them a polished and hardy look.
