It still blows my mind that homes in need of renovation sell for more than a million dollars in our neighbourhood.
Not that I'm upset about it -- I just can't quite wrap my brain around it.
The Toronto Star recently featured a semi near Bloor and Spadina that sold for $1.16 million despite being, in real estate parlance, " a rare opportunity to rejuvenate and restore a classic circa 1890 home."
Translation: it's a bit of a fixer upper, but one with original features and good bones.
