I've been posting pics of the first frost that took place at my sister's farm during Thanksgiving. I don't think we've had ours yet (?)Anyway, I had to rush to get them because the best pics are with the sun on the frost, making it glint and gleam. But first frosts are delicate, so it takes just a few minutes in the sun to make them melt from plants, leaving a sodden mess instead of a glittery treasure.
These nasturtiums are just on the verge between the two states.
