Neighbouring schools, including King Edward and Harbord Collegiate, went into "hold and secure."
This just in from Adam Vaughan's office:

"Dear Ward 20 residents,
The Toronto Police Service have confirmed that a gunshot was fired this afternoon at Central Technical School near Bathurst and Bloor.
There are no reports of any injuries. Police are at the scene and are questioning two individuals.
Police are looking for a third suspect: male non white, 17 yrs old, 5'7" 125 lbs, baggy black shirt, with red trim, black pants with white shorts over the pants.
Students are being screened and held in classrooms while police sweep the school.
Students will be allowed to leave soon, parents are being asked to meet students as they leave by the north east corner of the school (Lennox and Borden).
There may be some traffic restrictions in the area due to the police investigation.
Two schools in the area, Harbord C.I. and King Edward Public School, are in secure mode - students can leave the school but no one is permitted to enter.
I am at the scene of the school. The City's Community Crisis Response staff are monitoring the situation.
You can monitor local media, check my website at www.ward20.ca or call my office at 416-392-4044 for further updates on this matter. "
Let's hope it ends well.
Vanessa
