Eye Candy: Study in White and Grey

More Eye Candy! There has been a burst of photographic activity around here this Holiday. That's because my sister, who is pictured here in an abandoned marble quarry, got a new camera for Christmas.
Explains this series of Eye Candy shots by her and my other sister.
Soon I'm sure I'll be posting shots by DD; she got her first digital camera this Christmas and is smitten with it.
All of it reminds me of my photography lessons of long, long ago in college when processing pictures used to mean getting high from darkroom fumes... how times have changed.
I'm grateful for all the Eye Candy during a slow time of year and all this exploration of taking pictures has whetted my appetite for the whole experience again. Bonus!
Cheers,
Vanessa

Nice shot! Where is that quarry? I live in TO and love old quarries. I'd be interested in visiting it.

Thanks!

Sorry, Karl -- my sister took this shot near Westport/Perth, about 3 to 4 hours northeast of Toronto, closer to Ottawa, actually.
Quarries are fascinating, aren't they? Especially when they fill up with clean, swimmable water.
Good luck finding some closer to TO.
