Simple Ways To Help Keep School Pools Open

Lucky you -- you have yet another opportunity to help your community!
The swimming pool at Central Tech, and many others in schools, may be closed. Let's avoid getting into a rant about how, on the one hand, all levels of government promote exercise and increased physical activity while, on the other hand, there is an attempt to close free public swimming pools, shall we?
It's Monday and I haven't had enough caffeine yet to even contemplate wrapping my brain around that lunacy.
So I'll just share an email that rolled into my inbox from Rita...
"There is a voting movement underway through Aviva. Voting can be done daily; more votes = more hope for pool to remain open.
Also, anyone with suggestions for sponsorships or fundraising support can contact Susan Purvis.
There's also a fundraising silent auction of student art in the Central Tech front foyer this Sat. November 28 from 3 pm to 6 pm."
For more info on the sad situation in general, check out the Let's Make Waves website.
