Circus Camp for Adults at Harbourfront

I had fabulous summers, growing up in Toronto's Beaches area. The lake, which was crisp and swimmable, was a block and half away. Every spare moment was spent outside, with my friends -- and we had free run of the neighbourhood. Peanut butter and sand sandwiches were the most delicious lunches ever.
Sometimes I wish that my kids could enjoy more of that unfettered, free-range type of self-directed fun.
But, then again, sometimes I wish I could do some of their summer activities. Do you know what types of summer camps are out there? Fashion Design, Dungeons and Dragons, Digital Photography and Circus Camp at Harbourfront.
Well, other people must feel the way that I do because this just rolled into my inbox:
"Harbourfront Centre's Circus Camp isn't just for kids anymore!
It's your turn to swing on a trapeze, walk a tight wire, and learn to juggle. You'll have 11 different circus activities to choose from.
So come play with us under the big top at Coronation Park and get fit while having the most fun ever!
If you'd like to run away and join our circus, please register online at http://www.harbourfrontcentre.com/learn/courses/perfarts.cfm or call the Camps Office at 416-973-4093. We hope to see you there!"
Wow! Brilliant idea. Classes are in the evenings, of course. Ditching work for nine weeks in summer would be nice, but only teachers can do that with regularity!
Cheers,
Vanessa
