Scam Artist Was At Work In Our Area

In case you haven't heard, recently a man scammed an elderly Annex resident out of $7,500.

Sickening is the only word for it.

The bright side? The bank has reimbursed the woman and the scam artist has been caught.

The police suspect that there are other victims out there, just in case you've heard a similar story.
