So, apparently, you can enjoy live piano playing every Friday lunch hour at Trinity-St. Paul's United Church on Bloor at Robert St.
How delightful!
And admission is Pay-What-You-Can.
Cheers,
Vanessa

Women Making Waves October 26th at Trinity-St. Paul's United Church
An email rolled into my inbox with details about an intriguing upcoming fundraiser. Mark your calendars!
"On Saturday, October 26th, from 7.30 to 10 pm, in the newly-refurbished Sanctuary at historic TRINITY-ST PAUL'S UNITED CHURCH a concert titled WOMEN MAKING WAVES. The evening's theme will be, and most of the songs will concern, water... in its many aspects: political, poetic, economic, or as a matter of social justice. The singers will be Eve Goldberg, Jessa Koerber (from the Kootenays in B.C.),Soozi Schlanger, Anne Walker, and Nancy White. The concert is a fundraiser both for TSP (which is the venue) and the organization KAIROS, particularly in regard to its recent water initiatives.
Sarah Stratton of KAIROS will speak, and Robyn Hamlyn, a 14 year old water-activist from Kingston, will offer a multi-media presentation.
Tickets are $15, information and reservations at 416 922 8435."
Cheers,
Vanessa

Blessing of the Bikes April 21 at Trinity-St. Paul's
You can get your bike blessed at Trinity-St. Paul's United Church on Sunday, April 21st.
Great idea!
Trinity St. Paul's United Church & Centre for Faith, Justice and the Arts is a lively, welcoming place on Bloor St. West at Robert St.
For example, its website sections include "Aboriginal justice," "climate justice" and "Middle East."
The building also is home to Tafelmusik and is available for rental, so it is the site for many an interesting community event.
Cheers,
Vanessa
