First Annex Flea Holiday Market Today

Well, if you can wade through the Santa Claus Parade hordes, you might want to head to the Centre for Social Innovation Annex at 720 Bathurst for the first of three Annex Flea Holiday Markets today.
Here's the scoop about The Annex Flea:
"The Annex Flea is market for all things handmade and vintage. We like these things because it's fun to shop from people who are passionate about their wares, along with the fact that buying local is both good for our community and for the environment. Hurrah!"
Things kick off at 11 a.m. and you can check out the website for more details about the vendors.
Speaking of shopping locally and buying from artisans, don't forget the Artisans' Gift Fair at the Tranzac.
It runs weekends in December.
Happy shopping!
Cheers,
Vanessa

The Annex Flea

Have plans for your rainy weekend? You might want to squeeze in a visit to The Annex Flea on Sunday.
It's open from 11 am to 6 pm in the Honest Ed's parking lot. Pocket Style Canada will be there, but right now all the Annex Flea web links are broken. The Facebook page promises "all things vintage and handmade," but is otherwise vague about this month's vendors.

But you know what? I'm sure that it'll be worth checking out.
Cheers,
Vanessa

Annex Flea Call For Vendors

Do you have vintage or handmade goods for sale? You might want to be part of The Annex Flea.
Here are the details about this year's first one of the season and a call for vendors:
"The Annex Flea is back for the first of our summer markets, and we want you to be there! This market, on Sunday, June 8th, will be especially exciting, as we’ll be running it in conjunction with the Annex Fest, one of the first of the city’s summer street fairs. If you haven’t been, they shut down Bloor from Bathurst to Spadina, and have businesses with booths and such. They have few to no vintage/handmade vendors however, and we will be around the corner in the Honest Ed’s parking lot. You may know this space as where Fringe Festival sets up their tent in July. We will be collaborating with the Annex Fest with our collective marketing, so our reach will be that much farther."
Cheers,
Vanessa
