The Small Room at the Top of the Stairs
I heard nothing about this play, The Small Room at the Top of the Stairs, prior to reading a glowing Globe review of it.
It's located nearby at the Tarragon Theatre, it's supposed to be great and it sounds like it would make for a great night out.

Cinderella In Muddy York At The Tarragon
Puppetmongers mounts a puppet show and workshops every Holiday season and it's within easy walking distance at the Tarragon Theatre.
I've never attended, but I've heard and read that Cinderella In Muddy York is a fabulous show.
Performances take place from December 19 through January 1st and some feature workshops in puppet making afterward.
You can buy tickets online and they are $13 for children, $16 for adults and $50 for a family four-pack. The post-show workshops are $10 and a special New Year's Day Gala is $30.
