For many moons the good people of the ROM have offered ROMWalks, which are free, guided tours through historic areas of our fair city.
They begin May 4th and the last one is October 12th. All areas of the city are covered, including our own:

An introduction to Toronto’s first planned suburb for professional and upper middle class residents with unique Toronto architecture from the 1800s to the 21st century.

All Sunday & Saturday walks start at 2:00 pm; all Wednesday walks start at 6:00 pm.

ROMWalks

Here is it, mid-July, and I haven't mentioned ROMWalks yet. Shame on me!
Every year, the ROM offers free, guided walks through various neighbourhoods.

There are still two Annex walks upcoming: Aug. 15th and October 21st.
So strap on your walking shoes, get out there and explore your city.
Cheers,
Vanessa
