Dress For Success

Happy New Year!
With the New Year, there is a good chance that you're cleaning out your closets (or is it just me?)
Anyway, should you have any women's work clothes that you no longer need, consider donating them to Dress For Success. Housed in the Walmer Centre, Dress For Success helps disadvantaged women to find jobs, including providing them with suitable clothes.
Items they accept include:

• Modern business suits and blazer
• Modern and professional pants, skirts and dresses
• Office appropriate purses, jewelry, belts, scarves and accessories
• Professional outerwear including winter coats and gloves
• Professional footwear
• New undergarments and hosiery

So, clean out your closets, start the year off right and help people to get ahead. Win, win, win.

Donate Business Clothes To Dress For Success

I recently dropped off business clothes at Dress For Success at the Walmer Centre and realized that I should remind you about the group again.
Here's the goal of the group in a nutshell: "The mission of Dress for Success Toronto is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life."
So, if you have office-suitable attire that you no longer need, you can drop it off at the Walmer Centre on Lowther.
Of course, there are many additional ways to help the group, as well.
