Porch View Dances Info Session Saturday

If you live in Seaton Village and want to take part in Porch View Dances, head to the Palmerston Library Saturday at 1 p.m. to find out what it's all about.
Here's the scoop:
"Kaeja d'Dance, in partnership with Palmerston Library, welcomes residents and families of Seaton Village (situated between Dupont/Bloor and Bathurst/Christie) to take part in Porch View Dances 2015. Porch View Dances pairs every day (non-dancer) people with professional choreographers to create work that is performed in the front yards, porches and courtyards of their own homes. This annual community dance event gives families a wonderful opportunity to participate in a unique artistic experience and share their own stories.

Join us for this info session at Palmerston Library Theatre and:

- meet Artistic Directors Karen and Allen Kaeja, who will talk about the inspiration for Porch View Dances, provide an overview of the event and outline participant requirements/commitments.

- listen to past participants of Porch View Dances talk about their own experience creating and performing in the event.

- take part in the Question & Answer session.

Don't miss the opportunity to learn more about how to be involved in this one-of-a-kind experience. No dance training or experience is necessary! All are welcome!

Kaeja d'Dance is an internationally acclaimed contemporary dance company currently celebrating its 25th Anniversary Season. Kaeja is known for its dynamic choreographic work, as well as its highly successful community engagement projects. For more information visit visit kaeja.org."
Cheers,
Vanessa
