And I quote: "THE WIND 1928 Our opening night feature for the 5th Toronto Silent Film Festival. Starring legendary actress Lillian Gish, this rarely screened masterpiece reveals an intense drama about the disintegration of a young woman's mind to madness and murder in the face of isolation and a relentless wind. Also we'll be screening Part One of SILENT TORONTO PHOTOPLAYS. Rare archival footage of Toronto during the early part of the 20th Century showing a city full of life and promise. It's all part of the Toronto Silent Film Festival. Tonight's screening takes place at Innis Town Hall, 2 Sussex Avenue.
