Davenport and Dupont June 1957

A local intersection, 55 years ago. Amazing to notice the changes, isn't it? Not just in streetscape, but there's no bikes, there would be no phones in any of these cars. If I look very closely, I only can see two pedestrians. Just the change in the design of cars is astounding in only half a century, plus cars only became common approximately 30 years prior to this.
Hear that zipping sound? It's the future arriving.
