Facebook Seminar For Parents

Children are growing up in a world much different from the one their parents grew up in. No news there.
If you would like to know about Facebook in order to help guide your kid through this one part of the eWorld, this free upcoming seminar may help:

"What:               Invitation to Parents and Guardians to FACEBOOK 101; resented by Chris Vollum of Social Mediatrust.

When:              Wednesday May 23, at 7PM

Where:             Harbord Collegiate Institute Auditorium

Who:                Parents and Guardians of students in grade 5 and up.                       

Why:    Mr. Vollum, who is an expert on Facebook, has spoken to thousands of students across the province and last year presented to the students of Harbord Collegiate.  The evening is being presented so that parents/guardians can become more informed of the good and the bad elements of this Social Media tool being used by students form grade 5 and up.  This is your chance, whether you use Facebook or not, to become more informed so that you are aware of the faults in the system and guide your children in the proper usage.
