Toronto Street Food Project petition

Long-time readers of the Blog know that there's lots that I love about TO. But, lately, there's more and more that I detest about it, or that just... plain... doesn't... work. So much so that I am no longer convinced that I will live here all of my life unless something drastic changes.
It's a small thing, but it's emblematic: this city needs to get its act together re: street food. Maybe it's precisely because it's small that it strikes me as so odd... if you can't get THIS right after a concerted effort, what hope can we have for the future of bikes on roads; TTC; parks; and public spaces?
A vibrant street food scene is a sign of a vibrant city. If you agree, please sign this petition.
If you don't, continue buying greasy sausages from steaming carts.

Cheers,
Vanessa
