I stumbled across info for this fundraiser, which will be held Wednesday at the nearby Centre for Social Innovation Annex location.
"Within Every Woman is a film that explores the forgotten history of "The Comfort Woman", a term used to describe over 200,000 girls who were forced into sexual slavery during World War II in Asia.
The Director, Tiffany Hsiung, will give an intimate talk about the process of making the film thus far while sharing cherished videos and stories that she has captured along the way."
