July 9 Community Environment Day

I'm giving you time to scour your home for unwanted items that you can dispose of during the WARD 20 Community Environment Day.
Here's the scoop from Councillor Vaughan's office:
"Plans are underway for this year's Ward 20 Community Environment Day. More details will be available soon, but in the meantime – please HOLD THE DATE!
Date: Saturday July 9
Time: 10am - 2pm
Location: Central Technical School
at 725 Bathurst St.
Community Environment Day is your annual opportunity to drop off your unwanted, used or unused small electrical items (ie. cell phones, computers, TVs), used tires, and household hazardous waste for recycling or disposal. You can also bring many items including art supplies, sporting goods, books, CDs, medical equipment and non-perishable foods, which will be donated to the public school board and Goodwill. Free compost will be available and composters, water efficiency kits, and rain barrels will be available for purchase."
Cheers,
Vanessa
