I find ruins fascinating, whether they are ancient or much newer. If you do, too, you might like this photo essay that explores the ruins of Detroit.
Particularly touching are the photos of once-grand places fallen to decay, such as this one.
It's a reminder, isn't it, of how we'll all end up one day? Just one of the reasons that I like them.
