Election Message

You should watch this prior to voting tomorrow. There's additional interesting messages on this YouTube site, but I love the fact that the message from the constitutional expert is getting a lot more hits than those of the celebrities.
As it should.
Cheers,
Vanessa

Snapshot of our Federal Candidates

Inside Toronto has a precise, little summary of the platforms of the main candidates in our riding. Nothing shocking, but I thought that it summed it up well.
And I thought that I'd sneak in a little reminder that Monday is election day. Despite so much hoopla, it feels as though voting day has snuck up!
Cheers,
Vanessa

Federal Election Debate April 20th

I'm sure that I don't have to tell you that an election looms. As soon as it was announced, there were more election signs than spring flowers adorning neighbourhood laws.
If you're unsure about who to vote for, then this item might interest you.
And -- yeah! -- unlike some other debates, for this one the Green Party candidate is included.
Cheers,

Vanessa

All Candidates Debate Monday

Everyone seems caught up in the looming election, if only for fear that buffoon-ish Rob Ford actually has a chance of being the public face of our city. [insert shudder here].
But have you made up your mind about who to vote in for city councillor and school trustee?

For my money, our incumbents are fabulous: councillor Adam Vaughan and school trustee Chris Bolton.

If you need a chance to see them in action, the Annex Residents' Association and other neighbourhood groups have set up a local debate.
Here's the scoop:

Get Out and Vote!

You'd have to be a hermit to not know that a city election looms. Monday, October 25th is voting day and the city has a webpage with everything you need to know about registering to vote and where to vote.
So get out there and vote. And, for pity's sake,
don't vote for Rob Ford!
Cheers,
Vanessa
