Stuff Happens Opens at Annex Theatre Today

Looking for a night out? Playwright David Hare's Stuff Happens is on at the Annex Theatre on Bathurst.
It premieres this evening and runs until the 5th. Why the play title?

Frankenstein at the Annex Theatre April 10 to 12

Some legends and their attached stories seem to fascinate us endlessly -- vampires, werewolves and Frankenstein come to mind.
Case in point: Echo Productions is presenting a new adaptation of Frankenstein April 10 to 12th at the Annex Theatre on Bathurst, just south of Bloor.
Tickets are $31.50.
The theatre company promises a fresh take on the old tale: "Echo Productions has made a name for itself through its intensely physical and emotional style, and that trend continues with this latest collaboration by director Victoria Fuller and choreographer Erin Brookhouse as they bring Adrian Yearwood's new adaptation to life."

Play Matt and Ben On Stage Tuesday

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck [and their bromance] intrigue me. I guess I'm not the only one because someone has written a one-hour play about them called, appropriately enough, Matt and Ben.
You can catch it in our area at the The Bathurst Street Theatre (Annex Theatre) Wednesday.
