The Bloor-Annex
BIA (business improvement area) website was, well,
neglected for a long time.
It's pretty up-to-date these days and a good
source of area information.For instance, the Bloor-Annex BIA is sponsoring
Saturday public swimming at Central Tech during January.In an era when swimming indoors free-of-charge
is less and less of an option, I think that this is a great idea!Here's the scoop:"Start off the New Year with a fun family activity–swimming! This January, enjoy free community swims at the Central Technical School (CTS) pool. The Bloor Annex BIA is sponsoring the public swims every Saturday throughout January 2015.
Times: 2-4 p.m.
Location: CTS pool, 725 Bathurst Street (at Lennox, door 16).
People of all ages and abilities are welcome to
participate. Lifeguards will be on duty and pool toys, life jackets, flippers
and goggles are available to use, so feel free to bring the whole family!
Dates: January 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31
