Get Your Kids Writing On Their PD Day

I bring you a message from the lovely folks at Story Planet about an interesting way for your child to spend the upcoming PD Day (the one you remembered about, right?)
"Winter Greetings to You!
Students in grades 2-8 are welcome to join us on the next PD day, Friday December 5th from 10am 12pm for an exciting Alpha Workshop. 
Over the 2 hours, students will work together and separately, writing a whole story, all while a local artist draws out the story as it is created. The end result will be an actual book of the story that everyone gets to take home! Not a bad accomplishment for a day off of school...
There is a suggested donation of $5 per student. Although this is a drop in workshop, please contact Joe (joe@storyplanet.ca) if you and your child are interested in this fun filled morning!
