Crestfallen Lane?

I've mentioned the movement afoot to have Toronto's laneways named, including Crestfallen Lane in Seaton Village.
BlogTO has a fun write up about laneway naming.
I'm fascinated with Toronto's laneways. Perhaps it's because my family has long adored the art of Albert Franck, who painted many of them.
I also like the "tucked away" nature of our hidden paths; they often are quite quiet, despite being close to busy, noisy roads.
And now the naming of these back alleys, mostly to help emergency services locate them, has sparked a new interest in local history as people do research to come up with suitable laneway monikers.
It's all good!
Cheers,

Vanessa
