If you've never camped before, the learning curve can be steep. After all, you have to be able to set up a tent; cook outdoors; stow food to avoid visits from bears and other critters; stay dry if it rains; and survive with limited supplies.
The good folks at Parkbus and Ontario Parks have set up two Learn To Camp weekends.
Brilliant!
You take the bus there and almost all of the equipment is provided.
