Another Interesting, Local Holiday Shopping Opportunity

Neighbour Milisa passed along information about this lovely, local shopping opportunity:
"Make your Holiday Shopping Dollars really count!"
Purchase fair trade goods made by artisans in developing countries and support children and grandmothers affected by HIV/AIDs in sub-Sahara Africa.
A local Granny Group - TOGOGO GRANNIES - of Bloor Street United Church is hosting two shopping evenings at Ten Thousand Villages located at 474 Bloor Street West, between Albany & Howland.
Tuesday, December 6 and Wednesday, December 7 from 7 pm. to 9:30 pm.
...
Bring your friends and neighbours to shop, and enjoy tea, coffee and cookies.
Get Chocolate, Coffee, Stocking Stuffers, Gift Cards, Ornaments and more.
Ten Thousand Villages is graciously donating 15% of all sales those evenings to the Grandmothers Campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation to support African grandmothers and the millions of AIDS orphans in their care."
What a fabulous idea and endeavour! Hope you make it out.
Vanessa
