Children's Storefront Fundraiser November 23

The call has gone out: "The Children's Storefront Needs a New Home Volunteers needed for our all day fundraising event to help the Storefront build a new home.

We can't believe it's been close to a year already since our fundraising event at The Tranzac last year in 2009 but, here we are!

As you have heard, we have secured a new location and construction is underway. We are super excited and we would like to share and celebrate our excitement with all those that were able to help us pull this off! In such a short time no less!!!!

We are throwing a "Celebratory Fundraiser" and are holding it at The Tranzac Club again. It just seems fitting to bring us full circle and is really important to us to show people that all their hard work and support didn't go to waste and that we are on the track to a new home.

We need to keep up the momentum as we are almost there!! We are planning a similar version of last years event with Silent Auction, Raffles, Buffet Dinner and Live Entertainment.

We are looking for volunteers interested in helping us out again this year.
The daytime portion is 3pm - 6:30pm
The evening portion is 7pm - 11:30pm.

On the day of the event we need help with...
Set-up 3pm-4pm
Afternoon Drop in with the kids 3:30pm -6:30pm
Buffet Dinner Staff 4pm - 7pm
Door Staff 3pm - 10pm (1.5-2 hour shifts)
Raffle/Auction Staff 3pm - 10pm (1.5-2 hour shifts)
Clean-up crew 9.30pm - 11.30pm

Pre-event help is needed in the areas of Donation calls & requests and organizing received donations.
