An evening devoted to supporting St. Alban’s youth media team’s coverage of the MANIFESTO Arts Festival in Jamaica

Vibrant Voices is a youth media arts program that focuses on giving youth a voice, encouraging them to think independently, express themselves artistically and gain technical skills. Youth are mentored within the arts, encouraged to collaborate with others and gain compassion and understanding for the world around them.

This group of young leaders will have a life changing opportunity to learn about community building and empowerment through the arts which is at the heart of this experience. The youth program will use their media skills to provide documentary coverage of the festival, enlightening the use of art to bring people together, inspiring positive growth and change.

MANIFESTO JA is a partnership with the critically acclaimed Toronto festival of arts and culture, MANIFESTO. The youth program’s leader DJ L’oqenz will be also performing as a Canadian artist at the international festival taking place from October 14th-17th in Kingston.

When: Sunday October 3rd 7 pm-12 pm

What: A fundraiser in support of St. Alban’s Boys and Girls Club’s media arts program’s Jamaican journey, featuring youth performances, youth and professional DJ’s and a silent auction
