Lyme And Tings Talent Competition At Annex Live

"Lyme and Tings"takes place Thursdays this month at Annex Live, which is within strolling distance.
Here's the scoop:
"Trey Anthony Studios & See Saw Live Productions presents “LYME AND TINGS”, Toronto's only Apollo-style talent competition for singers, MCs and spoken word artists! Hosted by the savagely hilarious comedian, Trixx!
Twenty contestants will vie for a $500 cash prize and have the chance to be seen by Toronto’s decision makers. From industry insiders to talent scouts, at LYME AND TINGS you never know who will be in the audience. But you can’t miss the judges!
Rachael-Lea Rickards (actress, playwright), Jemeni (performance poet, comedian) and CoCo “Cognac” Brown (singer, and winner of the last LYME AND TINGS) round out the judges corner. With the help of the audience, they'll be making the cuts and critiques! Recording artist Gary Beals (of Canadian-Idol fame) and acclaimed spoken-word artist and producer Dwayne Morgan join the team as featured performers and guest judges.
For a night of FRESH talent, belly laughs and a “LYME-LICIOUS” menu offering a 3-course dinner for just $20, this summer's LYME AND TINGS is NOT to be missed.
The show will be EVERY THURSDAY IN AUGUST beginning on the 5th, with the highly anticipated finale on August 26th at The Annex Live, 296 Brunswick Ave in Toronto. $10 cover at the door.
