Adam Vaughan's Neighbourhood Walks

In three years, Jane's Walk has, to put it mildly, blossomed. Here's an excerpt from the website:
"In 2010, our fourth year, Jane’s Walk is expanding again. 370 neighbourhoods will be explored by thousands of people in 67 cities worldwide. In
Canada, the walks will be happening in at least 28 cities...
Toronto is the birthplace and headquarters of Jane’s Walk and the event here is quite spectacular. Local tour guides offer up the inside scoop on more than a hundred tours a year (120+ in 2010) and create a valued and magical space for the city to discover itself. A total of 343 Jane’s Walks are being offered in Canada in 2010.
Internationally, things are getting very exciting with Jane’s Walks being done in
Berlin, Madrid, La Paloma Uruguay, Lusaka Zambia, Goa and Mumbai India and three walks in Dublin, Ireland."
A fabulous example of a great idea combining with a willing public. And now our local Councillor is offering Adam's Walks.
Here's the scoop about Councillor Adam Vaughan's upcoming walks:
"In the spirit of Janes Walks, I will be holding a series of walks throughout the ward. Please join me to learn more about the people, places and events that are shaping communities throughout Ward 20 and how we are working together to preserve and enhance our vibrant neighbourhoods. The starting places and other details will be finalized shortly. Please watch for more information on these walks in my upcoming newsletter and on
www.ward20.ca.
