Having spent part of this last, glorious long weekend plucking pop container lids, fast food wrappers and other miscellaneous bits of crap from among the leaves and bushes in my front garden, I was reminded of the 20-Minute Makeover.
Every year, Hogtown residents are encouraged to get outside at the end of April and to spend twenty minutes tidying up a public space. This year it begins at 2 pm on Friday, April 23rd.
If you'd like to get a group together to tackle an area near your home or work, you can register with the city by Friday, April 16th.
You don't need to form a group, either -- you can just do it on your own.
Happy plucking!
