Wine & Cheese Tasting March 4th at Nancy's Cheese

Awhile back, DH, some friends and I went to a very casual, non-snobby cheese tasting at Nancy's Cheese on Dupont.
I learned a lot about cheese and had a great time!

Now Nancy has paired up with sommelier Anne Martin to offer wine and cheese tastings and a wine and beer tasting. And I quote:

"The first night of "Anne Pick's" wine and cheese pairing at Nancy's Cheese sold out! We've now added a second tasting to give any of you that missed your chance an opportunity to get in on it. I'll be selecting some of my favourite wines with cheese and Nancy will be pairing them up with her fabulous cheeses. Don't miss this exciting event.

Here are the details:

When: Thursday, March 4th 7:30-9pm

Where: Nancy's Cheese at 260 Dupont Street ( just east of Spadina)

Cost: $55 per person + GST (includes a selection of 8 cheeses and 5 wines)

Please keep in mind the tasting on Wednesday, April 14th, as well.

"Wine and Beer Showdown - He said; "Beer."/ She said; "Wine."

Graham Duncan, the drinks expert from NOW magazine, and I will be battling it out to decide which beverage pairs best with Nancy's cheeses. It's going to be fun, irreverent and there will be tears! ($75 + GST)."
