Back in the day, prior to places like Wonderland being on our doorstep, it was a big, scary deal to go to the ROM and brave the bat cave.When, as an adult, I took my children back there, I was shocked. How did such a dark, scary place become so... tame?
Innocence, meet experience.
Anyway, the ROM, in its wisdom, has redone the Bat Cave and the grand reopening is this weekend. March has being declared Bat Month. Smart, when you think about: vampires are all the rage now and even if children aren't interested in the Bat Cave, nostalgic parents no doubt will drag wee ones down there to see it themselves.
