There have been so many events that I wanted to go to this summer that I couldn't make it to because, well, because life is busy!
And dealing with vicious stomach bugs makes things even busier due to time lost.
I really regret missing a reading last week and this week I'm going to regret missing the public opening of neighbourhood artist Deb Wiles' show The Masculinity Exhibit.
The public opening is tonight at the Cameron and I'll be at a school meeting. C'est la vie!
But maybe you'd like to go? Here's the details from the artist's website:
"This summer Deb was in the studio creating this new series of paintings, you can see them at the Cameron 408 Queen Street West where they will be on display from Saturday August 22nd through to Wednesday September 16th 2009.
The Cameron opens every day at 4PM.
There will be three 'parties' at which the artist will be present. These occasions and dates are:
The Vernissage: Sat. August 22 from 8PM -10-PM
The Public Opening: Thursday September 10 8-10PM
Finissage: Wednesday September 16th 8-10PM."
Cheers,
Vanessa
