This tidbit from councillor Adam Vaughan's newsletter is asking for ideas about how to celebrate the newly redesigned OISE parkette.
"If you live or work near Bloor Street in the East Annex, you’ve no doubt noticed that the OISE Parkette (also known as the Bloor-Bedford Parkette) has undergone a transformation. The recently completed redevelopment of the park includes new walkways, lighting, benches, sod and plantings.
On September 22, Councillor Vaughan and the University of Toronto would like to invite you to celebrate the official opening of this well-used and much-loved green space. Since our parks and parkettes act as community hubs, we would like you, the community, to send us your ideas for how to celebrate this newly redesigned public space.
Please send your suggestions to councillor_vaughan@toronto.ca or contact my office at 416-392-4044."
Cheers,
Vanessa
